Dee Le Beau-Hein is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. She has an MS in administrative studies, with a minor in human resource management, from the University of South Dakota. Her extensive experience in addictions counseling, administration, education and training covers a wide range of topics. She practices and integrates her Native American cultural beliefs in both her personal and professional lives.

Ms. Beau-Hein currently serves as the Behavioral Health and Recovery Administrator for the Great Plains Tribal Chairman’s Health Board (GPTCHB) in Rapid City, South Dakota. She has established and maintains strong working relationships with tribal, state and local government agencies by providing training, education and technical support. She broadly implements GPTCHB’s activities to ensure quality public health support and healthcare advocacy.
